Thank you All who braved the cold and joined in yesterday's March for Life in Eastern Oregon! It was suggested by one of the youth participants that we move the operation to a warmer climate next year. While a worthy and probably very agreeable idea to most, it was explained to him that NE Oregon will always be stuck (or blessed) with freezing wind, snow, and/or rain on Jan 22nd. Just the way it goes. Call it a small cross to bear in our efforts to stand against the evils of abortion and euthanasia. 🌨❄️❤️
Photos of the event can be found on the website 👇 and social media. We had about 40ish participants (all ages) and we were proud to have demonstrated with peace and joy. Special thanks to La Grande Police Department for their frequent safety drive bys and to the kind person (name unknown) who delivered us donuts!
REMINDER: The deadline for the Oregon Right to Life Education Foundation CONTESTS (drawing, essay, speech, film) is Feb 1st. We have entries coming in from Baker and Union counties and there's still time for more! Excellent opportunity to engage the youth (grades K - young adult). More info on the website: https://unioncountyrtl.org/2021-contests
If you're interested in participating in virtual events, the Oregon March for Life will be held virtually on Saturday, Jan 23rd at 2:30pm and the National March for Life virtual events will be Friday, Jan 29th.
